Some of the largest train stations in Ukraine have been left without exterior lighting due to energy savings.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced that they will save electricity consumption with the whole country and turned off the lighting of the station facades. The company’s press service reported this on Saturday, May 11.
“During peak hours, the lighting of the facades and individual areas of the largest railway stations in the country is turned off in particular, Kyiv, Lvov, Dnepr, Odessa and Kharkov, we urge everyone to join the economical energy consumption.
Also, if necessary, indestructibility points will work at train stations, where alternative sources of electricity are available.
We remind you that on Saturday, in seven regions of Ukraine, a blackout was recorded due to enemy shelling and technological reasons.
Also, for several days now, Ukrenergo continues to limit electricity consumption for industry.
