In April, almost 1.9 thousand hybrid passenger vehicles (HEV and PHEV) were added to the Ukrainian vehicle fleet, which is 43% more than last year. It was reported by Ukravtoprom.
It was noted that the share of new cars in this amount was 51% compared to 71% last year.
Among new passenger cars, the TOYOTA RAV-4 remains the leader in the hybrid market (219 units). Next is the NISSAN X-Trail (85 units). Third most popular – MERCEDES-BENZ GLE (60 units)
FORD Fusion US is the leader in registration of imported used cars with hybrid powertrains (101 units). TOYOTA RAV-4 (68 units) and TOYOTA Prius (60 units) will follow.
We remind you that in April, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with more than 19.8 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad. Compared to the same period in 2023, registrations of such cars increased by 30%.
It was also reported that in March 2024, about 6.7 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine, which is 1.5 times more than in March last year.
