The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased to UAH 39.85, and the euro exchange rate decreased to UAH 42.85.
The hryvnia exchange rate slightly strengthened against the dollar and the euro on the cash market on the last working day of the week. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with monitoring data on Friday, May 3.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine decreased by 5 kopecks, to 39.85 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate also fell by 5 kopecks, to 42.85 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 39.35 UAH, and euros for 42.20 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 39.46-39.52 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – unchanged compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official dollar exchange rate – 39.5345 UAH (-0.1025 UAH). The official euro exchange rate today is UAH 42.3098 (+0.0112).
Remind us that in April, Ukrainians increased their purchases of foreign currency by a quarter. In general, since the beginning of this year, the population of Ukraine bought more than $3.2 billion from banks.
