Oleg Bestalanniy: Chernigiv is a place of strong people. Of course, for the wealthy, the post-strike attacks turned out to be a traumatic experience, but both still, for my warnings, more of them simultaneously delivered a positive mood. Oleksandr Kovalyov: The decision was not voluntary or impulsive. We wanted to open before a full -blown invasion and prepare for it. They just weren’t able to launch a fierce one, because they planned it quickly. What did they blame? We have been performing protective services in “BALU” since 2001, and quite successfully. The development of businesses is very important today, because first we believe in success. And our country needs jobs, taxes. And secondly, of course, the residents of Chernihiv need security.

What are your competitors saying? After all, entering the local market of such a big player can move them.

Alexander Kovalev: We are not afraid of competitors. But we don’t see them as a potential threat. After all, the job of every security company is to keep the city safe, and we are all in the same boat. In addition, during the war, we should forget about any misunderstandings and conflicts, and do not try to put spokes on each other’s wheels. A large player means higher requirements that all small players in the market can meet, higher quality of service provision and the highest level of security. The “Sheriff” throughout its activity informed the population about why alarms and security were so important, and it attracted clients to other security companies. There is nothing to fear. In general, using our example, I would say not to look at what will happen tomorrow, but to respond to what is happening today. Don’t worry about possible competition or new attacks. In fact, now it is very important to work together: take an active part in opening new businesses, to launch businesses that do not work. Tax payments are now very important for the city and for the region and country. This is another way to support our army.

Oleg Bestalanny: I agree. We are in the back, in front of the economy. And launching a big business today, especially in our city, which really suffered from the Russian occupiers, was an important tactical achievement. The field of economics is something we can influence: by paying taxes, creating new jobs and collaborating with other partners. Now, working as Sheriff, we have become stronger.
