The National Bank transferred 38.64 billion hryvnias from its revenues for 2023 to the state budget. This was reported yesterday by the press service of the regulator.
It is noted that on April 26, the Council of the National Bank approved the consolidated financial statements of the regulator for the previous year. Total distribution revenue reached UAH 76.6 billion.
“This amount traditionally, according to the Law on the National Bank of Ukraine, is partly sent to the State Budget, and partly to the general reserves of the National Bank,” added the press service.
We remind you that this week the National Bank reduced the discount rate for the second time in a row. Today it is 13.5% per year. The regulator took this step considering the favorable macro-financial trends.
