Since the beginning of Russia’s large-scale invasion of Ukraine and in April 2024, large business groups in Ukraine have donated UAH 58.5 billion to help the Armed Forces and humanitarian aid. According to the publication, Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM donated the most – UAH 8 billion. In second place is the business and fund of Victor Pinchuk with a value of UAH 5.77 billion. At the same time, the publication noted that the help of businesses is not limited only to finance – companies are also engaged in the production of the necessary range of products. In particular, an example is given by SCM holding, which produces fortifications, protection for tanks, models of military equipment, etc.
The authors of the study added that thousands of small and medium-sized enterprises will also donate to the country’s needs – directly to the divisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or local funds, and it is impossible to calculate all these contributions.
