Salaries of production personnel will increase by 5-20%, and for the least professions – up to 25%.
Metinvest Group will raise wages for employees of production and repair enterprises in Ukraine from May 1 of this year. The company’s press service reported this on Tuesday, April 23.

It is implied that the approach to changing salaries will be different, and that salaries will be indexed above the expected inflation rate.
“Salaries of production personnel will increase by 5-20%, and for the most difficult professions – up to 25%. compensation,” said the message.
At the same time, the salary increase will only affect production personnel in blue-collar professions and line managers. Changing salaries for administrative and management personnel, service businesses and management companies will also be considered if there is a financial opportunity.
Metinvest explained the decision to increase employee salaries by the fact that they were able to rebuild their work in new conditions after the loss of plants in Mariupol and the plant in Avdeevka.
In addition, the restoration of the maritime export corridor made it possible to slightly increase the workload of businesses. However, the market situation remains unfavorable: prices for metallurgical products are falling, and logistics costs are rising, the company said.
Let’s remember that in 2023, Metinvest introduced additional team bonuses for employees of repair and production enterprises. Employees increased their income by 15%.
