This decision was made by the Trade Inspectorate for the Quality of Agricultural and Food Products of Poland due to mislabelling.
The Trade Inspectorate for the Quality of Polish Agricultural and Food Products (IJHARS) in Poznan issued a decision to ban the circulation on the Polish market of a batch of ice cream cones with a total weight of 7.13 tons that -import from Ukraine. About that reported inspection at X on Monday, April 15th.
It was noted that the decision was made due to mislabeling.
Earlier, on April 12, IJHARS banned access to the Polish market for two shipments of sponge cakes with a total weight of 10.55 thousand tons imported from Ukraine, and on April 9 – three shipments of Ukrainian bagels with a total weight of 5.34 tons. In Lublin, three consignments of Ukrainian ice cream with a total weight of 8.48 tons were seized due to defrosting.
The Trade Inspectorate of Poland in early April announced the largest fine in its history of 1.5 million zlotys (about 380 thousand dollars), imposed on an import company for importing 11.5 thousand tons of technical rapeseed and wheat feed on the Polish market from Ukraine products due to their further use as food products.
In addition, a decision was made to ban the import of a batch of 57.66 tons of tomato paste from Ukraine due to the presence of mold.
Let us remind you that earlier in Poland the import of three batches of Ukrainian bagels with a total weight of more than 5.3 thousand kg was blocked.
