The average cash dollar selling rate increased to UAH 39.50, and the euro exchange rate increased to UAH 42.90.
The hryvnia exchange rate fell against the dollar and euro on the cash market. It was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to tracking data on Friday, April 12.
The average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine increased by 10 kopecks, to 39.50 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks, to 42.90 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 39.00 UAH, and euros for 42.20 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 39.30-39.32 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 7 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Last day, the National Bank increased the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia for the fourth day in a row – 39.1676 UAH (+0.1444 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.019 UAH (-0.3426 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar’s exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency updated records more than once. And the historical maximum was recorded on March 27 – 39.34 UAH/dollar.
