The Cabinet of Ministers approved additional payments of 70 thousand UAH to military personnel performing combat missions on the front line.

This was announced on April 12 by people’s deputies Irina Gerashchenko and Alexey Goncharenko.
Thus, military personnel “at zero” now, in addition to a salary of 20-25 thousand UAH and combat bonuses of 100 thousand UAH, have the right to an additional payment of 70 thousand UAH.
The government complied with the Council’s resolution. On April 11, parliament voted for a resolution obliging the government to approve a resolution on an additional payment of 70 thousand UAH to those on the front line, and also to introduce a bill on rotation in the near future.
A one-time reward in the amount of 70 thousand UAH will be available to soldiers performing tasks on the line of engagement with the enemy at the distance of combat (special) missions by a military unit of the first echelon of defense or advancing to a company stronghold, inclusive. And also on enemy territory – in particular, on the territory between the positions of the Russian troops and the Defense Forces, on the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
In addition, the Council obliged the Cabinet of Ministers to develop and submit to parliament a bill on the rotation of military personnel under martial law, their dismissal from military service and medical and social rehabilitation.
