The official exchange rate of the American currency rose slightly, although the American currency fell in price on the interbank market.
The National Bank of Ukraine slightly increased the exchange rate of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia. This trend continues for the second day in a row, according to data on the regulator’s website on Tuesday, April 9.
Thus, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 38.9945 UAH (+0.0063 UAH). The euro is worth 42.3519 UAH (+0.1511 UAH).
Today, in the interbank market, the American currency exchange rate decreased by 1 kopeck – to 38.94-38.99 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar rose in price by 5 kopecks – up to 39.35 UAH/dollar.
Earlier, the National Bank named the reasons for the recent increase in the dollar exchange rate. During the month, the exchange rate of the American currency repeatedly updated records. And the historical maximum was recorded on March 27 – 39.34 UAH/dollar.
