Lithuanian crab stick manufacturer plans to sell Russian business – media

The Viciunai Group announced plans to sell its business in the Russian Federation in the spring of 2022, although the owners of the group were against the sale of Russian assets, but were forced to “reach an agreement for political reasons,” the Russian publication reported.

The Lithuanian Viciunai Group, which makes Vici crab sticks, is planning to sell its business to the Russian Federation. The Russian publication Kommersant writes about this in connection with a report by Vichyunay-Rus LLC.

It is reported that the company said that it received the permission of the Russian authorities to sell the plant with a capacity of more than 120 thousand tons per year, the change of owner is planned for the “near future.”
