By the end of 2023, businessman Rinat Akhmetov’s DTEK group pays 40.2 billion hryvnias in taxes. This was reported by the company’s press service.
“40.2 billion hryvnias – this is the amount of taxes and fees paid by the DTEK group to the state budget for 2023,” the statement said.
It is noted that during the full-scale war, DTEK invested $1 billion in Ukraine in electricity grids, repair and restoration of power plants, construction of new capacities, as well as ongoing coal, oil and gas production.
The company also recalled that in 2023 it launched the first phase of the Tiligul wind farm, the world’s first wind power plant built during the war, just 100 km from the front line.
We remind you that in the latest attacks, the Russians destroyed almost all of DTEK’s thermal power plants. It was also reported that the damage to DTEK’s energy facilities was enormous estimated at billions of Hryvnia.
