In the interbank market, the American currency fell in price by 17 kopecks, to 38.82-38.84 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia. This trend has been happening for three days, according to data on the regulator’s website on Friday, April 5.
So, the official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 38.8437. for 1 dollar (-0.1764 UAH). The exchange rate of the euro decreased even more – 42.0910 UAH (-0.2575 UAH).
In the interbank market, the American currency fell by 17 kopecks to 38.82-38.84 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar fell another 10 kopecks, to 39.35 UAH/dollar.
Earlier on Friday it became known that at the end of March, Ukraine’s international reserves grew by 18% and updated the historical record – $43.763 billion. And this despite the fact that Ukraine paid the service and repayment of the national debt of $363.5 million and paid another $728.5 million for the IMF.
It was also reported that in March, Ukrainians reduced their purchases of foreign currency from banks by a third.
