In the interbank market, the American currency fell in price by 17 kopecks, to 39.15-39.17 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine lowered the official rates of the dollar and euro against the hryvnia after a significant increase in the previous two days. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Wednesday, April 3.
So, the official dollar exchange rate for tomorrow is set at 39.1953 UAH (-0.1283 UAH), and the euro is worth 42.2643 UAH (-0.0125 UAH).
Today on the interbank market, the American currency fell by 17 kopecks, to 39.15-39.17 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate increased by 5 kopecks to UAH 39.55.
Let us remind you that in March the dollar exchange rate increased by about 1 Hryvnia. The official rate of the NBU increased by 2.7%. This happened despite the fact that the foreign exchange deficit in the interbank market was not as significant at the end of 2023.
It was also reported that in March the National Bank increased sales of dollars by almost 20%.
