In March 2024, about 6.7 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Ukraine, which is 1.5 times higher than in March last year. This was reported by the Association of Ukrainian Automobile Manufacturers (Ukravtoprom).
The Japanese brand Toyota is the leader in terms of sales. Toyota’s number in March was 1,021 cars (+58%).
Next came the following brands: Renault – 955 units. (+118%), Skoda – 452 units. (+31%), Volkswagen – 444 units. (+3%) and BMW – 381 units. (+7%).
The best seller of the first month of spring in the Ukrainian market of new cars was the Renault Duster crossover, chosen by 920 buyers.

Demand for electric cars has also reportedly increased in Ukraine. By February 2024, the Ukrainian car fleet will be filled with more than 3.9 thousand electric cars. Compared to the same period last year, the demand for electric vehicles increased 2.3 times.
