The President recognized the products of enterprises in the Sumy region and thanked the business for supporting the state’s economy and creating jobs during the war.
During a working trip to the Sumy region, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky took part in the presentation of the Made in Ukraine economic platform and met with Ukrainian manufacturers. This was reported by the presidential press service.
The president reportedly inspected the products of local businesses and thanked the businesses for supporting the state’s economy and creating jobs during the war.
“It is very important for me that the emergence of a new national platform Made in Ukraine will be effective. Therefore, we will move from a state initiative to regional meetings and will work in regional offices,” added Zelensky .
The President called on all regions of the country to join the Made in Ukraine platform.
“We are ready to help regional businesses with orders, which may also have government orders. Now we are talking about how to see everything you can, how to sign specific contracts so that you can increase the number of jobs and develop the economy of our state,” said the president.
First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko announced that the first regional office of the Made in Ukraine platform, which focuses on micro and small businesses, was opened in the Sumy region. There, entrepreneurs will receive qualified advice and information about support programs.
It was also mentioned that this year, thanks to the Made in Ukraine economic platform, the Sumy region will receive more than UAH 1 billion.
We remind you that today Zelensky in the Sumy region met with the military and inspected the construction of fortifications. The President was briefed on the organization of the defense in three lines.
