So, models like Rolls-Royce, Ferrari and Lamborghini are not included in the list of cars subject to taxation.

Many car models are not on the list of cars, the owners of which must pay 25 thousand hryvnias – the so-called “luxury tax”. The list also contains errors that can be used as “wells” to avoid paying tax. This is stated in the Bihus.Info story.

Transport tax – payment of 25 thousand hryvnias per year for owners of cars not more than 5 years old and the average market value exceeding 375 minimum wages (in 2024 it will be about 2.7 million UAH). The average market value is calculated using a special formula.

The list of cars subject to taxation, prepared by the State Enterprise Gosvneshinform, is published on the website of the Ministry of Economy.

However, the list of cars whose owners must pay transport tax in 2024 does not include Ferrari cars. Although they are “the most expensive in the Ukrainian car market, according to the website auto.ria.” Two 2022 SF90s are now selling for $650,000 and $800,000 – the more expensive is part of the collection of 25-year-old millionaire Alexander Slobozhenko.

The list from the website of the Ministry of Economy also does not include Rolls-Royce cars. Representatives of the people of Ukraine use cars of this British brand. People’s representatives Stepan Ivakhiv, Suto Mamoyan and Gennady Vatsak were seen driving Cullinan crossovers. The Vatsaka confectionery house also owns the Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan and the Lamborghini Urus crossover.

The list does not include McLaren, Alpina, some Mercedes-Benz models, which, based on the price criteria, should be subject to taxation, and many others.

The list contains errors that allow you to avoid paying tax even for those cars that are on the list: the wrong engine sizes are indicated for three Bentley models, and the Mercedes-Maybach that sedan is misspelled – MaVbach.

Let’s recall that the Metinvest group transferred UAH 14.6 billion of taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in Ukraine by the end of 2023.
