DTEK machine-building enterprise manufactured and repaired 230 pieces of mining equipment.

In January-February, the DTEK machine-building enterprise produced three new coal combines and additionally supplied the needs of mines with 160 thousand spare parts and components. This was reported by the DTEK press service on Thursday, March 21.

Thus, the machine builders produced and repaired 230 pieces of mining equipment to support the needs of miners in Ukraine with the equipment necessary for their work.

The General Director of DTEK Energy Ildar Saleev noted that thanks to this work, miners continue to extract coal to the maximum and maintain the necessary fuel reserves for the reliable operation of Ukrainian thermal power plants and the energy system in total

In addition, equipment and machinery are needed to perform tunneling and prepare new ranges. Two months later this year, six new coal ranges were implemented.

By 2023, DTEK has commissioned 26 new coal ranges. In that year, the company’s investments in coal mining amounted to about 7 billion hryvnias, which is almost twice as much as in 2022.

We remind you that Ukrainian thermal power plants and combined heat and power plants have enough remaining coal in their warehouses to successfully complete the heating season.

Recently, the miners of the DTEK Energy company sent a batch of coal to the front in Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.
