Fans open campaign for the creation of ‘International Dragon Ball Day’

Fans of the anime ‘Dragon Ball’ have started a petition to make March 8 ‘International Dragon Ball Day’. Understand!

Through the Change Org website, some ‘Dragon Ball’ fans have started a campaign for March 8 to become ‘International Dragon Ball Day’. The initiative is a tribute to the creator of the series, Akira Toriyamawhose death was confirmed on the same date.

Initially, the fans’ goal was to collect around 75 thousand signatures. However, the campaign became so popular that, until the publication of this article, more than 127 thousand people had already signed the petition. Now, the new goal is to reach 150 thousand. Click here and sign!

‘Dragon Ball’ appeared in 1984, under the creation of Akira Toriyama. The series tells the story of Goku, a boy who has a monkey’s tail and consequently extraordinary strength. His life changes when he meets Bulma, an adventurer who is in search of the seven Dragon Balls.

Together, Goku and Bulma go in search of the Dragon Balls. In Brazil, ‘Dragon Ball’ is available through the Globoplay streaming service, in addition to the website Crunchyroll, a platform that has the largest anime catalog in the world.
