In exchange offices, the selling rate for cash dollars has already increased by 40 kopecks – up to 39.15 UAH/dollar.
The exchange rate of the dollar in the interbank foreign exchange market rose sharply and for the first time in history rose above 39 Hryvnia. RBC-Ukraine reported this in connection with Ukrdiling data on Monday, March 18.
It is indicated that at 13:25 the rate is at the level of 38.98-39.02 UAH/dollar, and the euro – 42.51-42.54 UAH/euro.
“Thus, the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia and the euro against the hryvnia as a result of today will once again update the record,” the publication wrote.
Meanwhile, in the exchange offices the dollar selling rate today increased by 40 kopecks – up to 39.15 UAH/dollar.
Let us remind you that last week the National Bank significantly increased the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market. In total, nearly $4.6 billion has been sold since the beginning of the year.
