The global price of Brent crude oil rose above $85 a barrel after rising 4% last week.
UAV strikes on Russian oil refineries led to the biggest weekly increase in global oil prices of the year. Bloomberg reported this on Sunday, March 17.
According to the latest report, the global price of Brent crude oil rose above $85 per barrel after rising 4% last week, while West Texas Intermediate was trading around $81 per barrel.
It noted that oil prices have emerged from the tight trading range that dominated the first months of the year, when prices reached their highest level since November.
Experts also warned that instability in oil demand forecasts in China and continued inflation in the United States could further destabilize the market situation.

We remind you that in recent weeks, UAVs regularly enter Russian refineries and oil depots. Last night, a fire after a drone strike broke out in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar Territory.
Before this, on March 16, in the Samara region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked two oil refineries; on March 15, three UAVs attacked an oil refinery in the Kaluga region of the Russian Federation: the equipment was damaged.
