In the interbank market, the American currency rose by 13 kopecks, to 38.79-38.81 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia to a new historic high. In turn, the euro exchange rate fell, as reported on the regulator’s website on Friday, March 15.
So, the official dollar exchange rate on Monday will be 38.7998 UAH (+0.1144 UAH). The previous maximum was recorded on March 14 – UAH 38.7878. for 1 dollar.
The euro exchange rate will be 42.2452 UAH per 1 euro (-0.0418 UAH).
Today in the interbank market, the American currency increased by 13 kopecks, at 38.79-38.81 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
But in the cash market, the dollar fell by 15 kopecks, to 38.75 UAH/dollar.
We remind you that on March 14, the National Bank reduced the discount rate by 0.5% – to 14.5% per annum. This came as a surprise to most financial market participants.
Also yesterday, the NBU announced that Ukraine will receive $10 billion in April-March 2024.
