The average dollar selling rate remained at 38.90 hryvnia, while the euro exchange rate increased to 42.65 hryvnia.
The dollar exchange rate stabilized in the cash market after a sharp rise in recent days. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Thursday, March 14.
So, the average dollar selling rate did not change – 38.90 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate increased by another 5 kopecks – to 42.65 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.40 hryvnia, and euros for 41.95 hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency is at the level of 38.80-38.84 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The day before, the National Bank increased the exchange rate of the dollar and the euro to a historic maximum. So, today the dollar is worth 38.7878 UAH (+0.2954 UAH). The rate was only higher on February 22.
The euro exchange rate is 42.4183 UAH (+0.3769 UAH). The rate was higher on December 29, 2023.
We remind you that last week the National Bank’s net dollar sales decreased to $133.69 million. This is the lowest number in 11 months.
It has also been reported that e-hryvnia will be tested in Ukraine. It will not replace the cash or non-cash form of the hryvnia, but will be their addition, the NBU assured.
