The average cash dollar selling rate jumped to UAH 38.90, and the euro exchange rate rose to UAH 42.60.
The hryvnia exchange rate accelerated its decline against the dollar and euro in the cash market. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine in reference to tracking data on Wednesday, March 13.
The average dollar selling rate jumped by 25 kopecks, to 38.90 Hryvnia, and the euro exchange rate rose by 30 kopecks, to 42.60 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars on average for 38.40 UAH, and euros for 41.90 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 38.56-38.60 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 3 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the dollar exchange rate for the third day in a row to UAH 38.4924 (+0.1099 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 42.0414 UAH (+0.0855 UAH).
We remind you that last week the National Bank’s net dollar sales decreased to $133.69 million. This is the lowest number in 11 months.
It has also been reported that e-hryvnia will be tested in Ukraine. It will not replace the cash or non-cash form of the hryvnia, but will be their addition, the NBU assured.
