Odessa farmers sowed the most – 33 thousand hectares. Of these, 0.5 thousand hectares of wheat, 17.5 thousand hectares of barley, 14.3 thousand hectares of peas and 0.7 hectares of oats.
In Ukraine, twelve regions have already started sowing spring grain crops – wheat, barley, peas and oats. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food on Friday, March 8.
“On March 7, 68 thousand hectares were sown in Ukraine. Of these, 4.3 thousand hectares of wheat, 38.9 thousand hectares of barley, 23.3 thousand hectares of peas and 1.5 thousand hectares of oats, “- said the message.
Odessa farmers sowed the most – 33 thousand hectares. Of these, 0.5 thousand hectares of wheat, 17.5 thousand hectares of barley, 14.3 thousand hectares of peas and 0.7 hectares of oats.
In the Nikolaev region, 0.7 thousand hectares of wheat, 11.5 thousand hectares of barley, 6 thousand hectares of peas and 0.2 of oats were sown.
In the Ternopil region, 0.8 thousand hectares of wheat, 4.3 thousand hectares of barley and 0.7 thousand hectares of peas were sown.
In the Khmelnitsky region, 2.2 thousand hectares of barley and 0.3 oats were sown, and in the Vinnytsia region – 1.8 thousand hectares of wheat, 0.4 thousand hectares of barley and 1.2 thousand hectares of peas.

We remind you that Ukraine exported 20.239 million tons of grain and legumes in the 2023/2024 marketing year.
