Hryvnia started the new week with a decline

In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased to 38.28-38.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.

The hryvnia exchange rate continues to fall against the dollar and euro at the beginning of the new working week. This was confirmed by data on the National Bank website on Monday, March 4.

The official dollar exchange rate rose in price for the second day in a row. For tomorrow, its rate is set at 38.3135 UAH (+0.1560 UAH). The euro exchange rate rose even more – to 41.5433 UAH (+0.2798 UAH).

Today, in the interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 11 kopecks – to 38.28-38.30 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.

In the cash market, the dollar rose by 10 kopecks to 38.60 UAH/dollar.

We remind you that in the past week, the NBU divided the sales in the interbank market – at $320.9 million. At the same time, the regulator has bought a record amount of money since November 2022.

It was also found that in February, Ukrainians reduced their currency purchases by a quarter.
