Residents of the Dnepropetrovsk region suffered the most – more than 220 thousand households were left without electricity.

By the end of February, DTEK power engineers restored power to 426 thousand consumers who lost power due to Russia’s shelling in Kyiv, Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The energy holding announced this on Monday, March 4.

In particular, over the past month, energy supplies have been restored for 226 thousand households in the Dnepropetrovsk region. In the frontline Donbass, repairs were carried out for about 190 thousand consumers.

In addition, in February there were power outages in Kyiv due to the attack. Electrical engineers then quickly repaired the damaged electrical facilities and restored light to more than 10 thousand customers.

DTEK recalled that for more than two years they have been working in conditions of increased risk and restoration of networks destroyed due to enemy attacks.

“Since the beginning of the mass attack, power engineers have restored power to more than 11 million families. Our first priority is to provide light to customers in the shortest possible time. Power engineers began work as soon as they receive permission and access to the place of damage from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service,” emphasized Alexander, General Director of DTEK Grids Fomenko.

We remind you that in January, DTEK electrical engineers restored power to 713 thousand consumers who were left without electricity supply due to the shelling in Kyiv, Kyiv, Donetsk, Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions.
