“Today, within 24 hours, it is planned to export a record volume of electricity – 13,264 MWh, with a maximum power of up to 716 MW in individual hours. Ukrainian electricity will be exported to five countries: Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Moldova,” said the message. .
The company recalled that from March 1, the technically possible maximum capacity for the export of electricity from Ukraine and Moldova to Europe is 550 MW per hour.
also in Ukrainergo emphasized that the export of electricity from Ukraine to other countries is carried out only if there is no shortage in the energy system.
“The high water in the rivers and sunny weather contribute to the active operation of hydroelectric power plants and power plants using renewable energy sources. Because of this, electricity producers have the opportunity not only to fully meet the needs of Ukrainian consumers, but also to sell electricity to neighboring countries, receiving funds for the subsequent restoration after the armed attacks of the Russians,” – reported the press service.
At the same time, electricity imports are planned to be less important during night hours from Slovakia, Moldova, and Romania. The total volume is 132 MWh, with a maximum power in individual hours of up to 62 MW.
There is no forecast for a deficit in the Ukrainian energy system. But due to fighting and other reasons, until this morning, 390 settlements remain without electricity. There were new damages to oblenergos networks in Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Sumy, Kharkov, and Kherson regions.
For technical reasons, there is a blackout in the Zaporozhye and Odessa regions. Repairs are ongoing there.
We remind you that since February 14, electricity exports from Ukraine have exceeded imports. And on February 23, Ukraine began selling electricity to Hungary.
