From March 1, Polish farmers intend to fight Ukrainian grain at the Lithuanian border.
The Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture denies information that Ukrainian grain is exported through the country to Poland. Delfi reports this in connection with a statement from the department.
“The accusations that Ukrainian grain passing through Lithuania is being exported to Poland as Lithuanian grain are unfounded,” the ministry emphasized.
On March 1, Polish farmers plan to block the Lithuanian border checkpoint and check all vehicles that can deliver Ukrainian agricultural products.
General traffic flow will not be blocked. All vehicles coming from Lithuania will move to the normal traffic lane.
“All heavy-duty/cargo vehicles will be directed to the platform/sleeve on the right side, documents for cargo carried by these vehicles will be checked,” the Lithuanian Ministry of Agriculture said.
As you know, Polish farmers’ protests continue on the Ukrainian border. Protest participants systematically spread Ukrainian agricultural products.
