Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, DTEK repair teams have restored approximately 17,000 km of lines and 6,000 power grid facilities.
Since the beginning of the war, DTEK energy workers have restored power to more than 11 million families without electricity as a result of Russian attacks. The company’s press service reported this on Saturday, February 24.
During two years of widespread war, DTEK repair teams restored approximately 17,000 km of lines and 6,000 power grid facilities. In total, power engineers have restored electricity to more than 11 million households, for most of them several times due to ongoing blackouts and power outages in front-line regions.
It was noted that since the beginning of the Russian invasion, DTEK’s thermal power plants have been attacked almost 160 times. Of these, more than 40 times – in the current heating season.
DTEK energy workers were able to restore 10 power units of thermal power plants, which suffered significant damage as a result of the invaders’ attacks. Two more units with a total capacity of 500 MW were further reactivated to maintain the reliability of the power system.
Let’s remember that at the height of the war, DTEK built the Tiligul wind power plant in the Nikolaev region, 100 km from the combat zone.
Since the start of the mass invasion, DTEK has invested $1 billion in the Ukrainian economy.
