Currently, there are 13 generating units of thermal power plants in reserve, which will be used as needed.
Ukraine is increasing its electricity exports. It has exceeded imports eight times, the Ministry of Energy reported on Saturday, February 24.
“For the current day, electricity imports are estimated at 320 MWh, and exports to Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova and Hungary are also expected – up to 2,440 MWh,” the report said.
Indicates that there is no shortage of electricity in the energy system. Our own generation is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
Yesterday, the thermal power plant building underwent short-term repairs, while at the same time, after repairs, the thermal power plant unit was put back into operation. There are 13 generating units of thermal power plants in reserve, which will be activated as needed.
At night, Kherson experienced shelling, as a result of which the 150 kV overhead line was turned off. The substation was de-energized, leaving about 9.5 thousand consumers without electricity.
Due to preliminary shelling and insufficient safety conditions for power engineers, the 330 kV line feeding the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant remains de-energized. The station has been on the same power line for three days.
We remind you that on February 14, for the first time this winter, it was found that electricity exports from Ukraine exceeded imports.
And the day before it was reported that Ukraine started selling electricity to Hungary.
