The entrepreneur sold 14 million shares in Amazon on February 16-20. So, Bezos completed his plan to sell up to 50 million shares of the company.
Before that, he sold another 36 million shares of Amazon. In total, Bezos sold more than $8 billion in shares.
Bezos owns $164 billion worth of Amazon stock. The businessman’s total wealth is $191 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires index.
It is noted that Amazon shares have increased in price by 72% in the past 12 months.
