In the interbank market, the price of the American currency increased by 22 kopecks – up to 38.27-38.29 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine sharply increased the official dollar exchange rate at the beginning of the new working week. Its historical maximum was updated, according to data on the regulator’s website on Monday, February 19.
So, the official exchange rate for tomorrow is set at: 38.2847 UAH per 1 dollar (+0.3128 UAH). The previous record was 38.2253 UAH/dollar.
In turn, the euro exchange rate for production will be 41.2403 hryvnia per 1 euro (+0.3484 UAH).
On the interbank market, the American currency rose in price by 22 kopecks – to 38.27-38.29 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar rose by 40 kopecks to 38.50 UAH/dollar.
Earlier it became known that in the past week the National Bank sold the highest currency for the month. At the same time, the dollar exchange rate on the interbank market increased by about 50 kopecks and for the first time in a month exceeded 38 UAH/dollar.
