In the interbank market, the American currency rate increased by 14 kopecks to 38.03-38.05 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine raised the dollar exchange rate on the last working day of the week after a sharp drop the day before. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, February 16.
The official exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 37.9719. for 1 dollar (+0.0235 UAH). In turn, the euro grew even more and was worth 40.8919 hryvnia (+0.1201 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency rate increased by 14 kopecks to 38.03-38.05 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
At the same time, in the cash market the dollar exchange rate immediately fell by 20 kopecks to 38.10 UAH/dollar.
Let’s remember that last week the dollar was relatively stable. And the National Bank for the sixth time in a row reduced the sale of foreign currency in the interbank market – to $201 million. This is the lowest volume since the beginning of April 2023.
