DTEK implements a comprehensive program for the adaptation of veterans when they return from the front to work. This was learned at a meeting with the European Business Association (EBA) on the topic of unhindered work, the press service of the energy holding reported.
It is indicated that the adaptation program includes psychological and legal support for veterans and their relatives, medical rehabilitation and assistance in the professional development of defenders returning to businesses.
In addition, the company works to create conditions for retraining people with disabilities. And businesses have mentors who help veterans quickly regain their professional skills.
“In the process of developing our comprehensive program, we are constantly talking to veterans, asking for their feedback, and advising on how best to implement certain activities,” said Natalya Abramova, advisor to the CEO of DTEK Energy, in a meeting with the EBA.
As the press service stated, about 5,000 employees of the DTEK group are currently serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
We remind you that DTEK has already implemented 182 projects with elements of inclusivity to simplify the return of veterans to civilian life.
It was also reported that the US experience in developing adaptation programs for veterans will be applied in Ukraine. In particular, the adaptation experience of Americans who fought in Vietnam will be considered.
