The average selling rate of the dollar in exchange offices is 38.05 hryvnia, and the euro costs 41.25 hryvnia.
The exchange rate of the hryvnia is stable against the dollar and the euro at exchange offices. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to market monitoring data on Thursday, February 8.
So, this morning the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine has not changed and is at the level of 38.05 Hryvnia, the euro exchange rate is also stable – 41.25 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy a dollar for an average of 37.55 Hryvnia, and a euro for 40.55 Hryvnia.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.57-37.59 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – an increase of 1 kopeck compared to the previous day’s close.
The National Bank reduced the dollar exchange rate to UAH 37.5937 (-0.0317 UAH). Today’s euro exchange rate is 40.5035 UAH per 1 euro (+0.1089 UAH).
Earlier it became known that the National Bank sold the lowest currency in 10 months. Over the past week, the regulator reduced sales in the interbank market for the fifth time in a row.
The NBU also explained the improvement of the situation in the foreign exchange market. The exchange rate has responded to the balance of supply and demand – since the beginning of the year it has strengthened by 1.2%.
