The average dollar selling rate remained at UAH 38.05, but the euro exchange rate fell to UAH 41.30.
The hryvnia exchange rate rose significantly against the euro on the cash market. At the same time, the hryvnia stabilized against the dollar, reports RBC-Ukraine, citing tracking data on Tuesday, February 6.
So, this morning the average selling rate of the dollar in Ukraine did not change – 38.05 Hryvnia, but the euro exchange rate fell by 15 kopecks – to 41.30 Hryvnia.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 37.55 UAH, euros for 40.60 UAH.
In the interbank market, the American currency rate is at the level of 37.58-37.61 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) – a decrease of 4 kopecks compared to the previous day’s close.
Today, the National Bank of Ukraine reduced the dollar exchange rate for the second time in a row – to 37.5544 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0154 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 40.3747 UAH (-0.5050 UAH).
The day before it became known that the National Bank sold the lowest currency in 10 months. Over the past week, the regulator reduced sales in the interbank market for the fifth time in a row.
The NBU also explained the improvement of the situation in the foreign exchange market. The exchange rate has responded to the balance of supply and demand – since the beginning of the year it has strengthened by 1.2%.
