In the interbank market, the American currency fell in price by 11 kopecks – to 37.50-37.52 UAH/dollar (buying and selling).
The National Bank of Ukraine increased the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar, but significantly reduced it against the euro. This was confirmed by data on the regulator’s website on Friday, February 2.
The official dollar exchange rate for Monday is set at UAH 37.5698 (-0.0349 UAH). In turn, the euro is worth 40.8797 hryvnia (+0.2102 UAH).
In the interbank market today, the American currency fell by 11 kopecks – to 37.50-37.52 UAH/dollar (buying and selling) compared to the previous day’s close.
In the cash market, the dollar exchange rate decreased by 5 kopecks – to 38.15 UAH/dollar.
Earlier it became known that in January Ukrainians bought $1.103 billion from banks. This is a record volume since November 2012.
It was also reported that Ukrainian banks have imported a record amount of foreign currency since 2014. In December alone, $1.33 billion of foreign cash was brought into the country.
