During the week from January 15 to 21, DTEK’s repair and restoration teams restored power supplies to 37.8 thousand households without electricity as a result of the ongoing shelling by the Nazis in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions. The company’s press service reported this on Monday, January 22.
In particular, in the Donetsk region, the electricity supply was restored to 24.5 thousand households in 34 settlements, in the Dnepropetrovsk region – 13.3 thousand in 10 settlements.
“DTEK Networks energy workers, despite the difficult shelling situation, continue to restore electricity grids with the permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. In some settlements close to the combat zone, we have restored power dozens of times and will continue to do so again and again,” – noted the General Director of DTEK Networks, Alexander Fomenko.
Let’s recall that the day before it was reported that in the last two days alone, DTEK electrical engineers resumed power supplies to more than 17 thousand consumers who were de-energized after Russia’s shelling in the regions of Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk. And in the first week of the year, the company’s repairmen had to repair networks to restore electricity to 554 thousand consumers who were injured due to shelling by racists in Kyiv, Kyiv, Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions .
