The State Bureau of Investigation transferred 26 thousand tons of metal products belonging to a company from Belarus to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The SBI press service reported this on Friday, January 19.
The property of the Belarusian company was discovered by SBI officials during a pre-trial investigation in the port territory. In the customs control zone of Odessa customs, fittings, pipes and steel blanks were found, the owner of which is a company from Belarus.
“The property of the aggressor country can serve our army for almost two years if it is not “lost” by customs against the requirements of the Law on Confiscation of Property during Martial Law,” said of SBI.
The property is currently seized. 412 wagons with metal products were transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The estimated value of the goods is more than $61 million.
