Metinvest Group launched the production of steel underground command posts. The first steel headquarters, designed for 30 military personnel, has already been transferred to the Ukrainian Ground Forces and placed in one of the hot areas of the front, the press service of the group reported on Friday, January 19.
Metal structures are designed to protect personnel from shelling, as well as provide comfortable working conditions for the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the front line.
Metinvest added that the structure opens and collapses in a short time, and when installed correctly, provides protection against artillery of any caliber.

The group’s press service noted that the new command posts are based on the “kryivka” bunker model, 330 units of which Metinvest has transferred to various brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2022.
“The design of a standard steel bunker was modified for use as part of a permanent headquarters; the dimensions were increased to 6 meters in length and 2.3 meters in height. Specialists from Metinvest enterprises spends about 400 hours building such a structure,” the group reports.
