The GovTech center will focus on the digital transformation of government, the development of e-government and digital skills.
Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation – Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov, President of the World Economic Forum Berge Brende and Managing Director Jeremy Jurgens signed an agreement to open a government technology center in Kyiv. The official announced this on Telegram on Wednesday, January 17.
“The GovTech center will deal with the digital transformation of the government, the development of e-government and digital skills. Thanks to the center, Ukrainian startups and innovators can exchange experience with foreign partners and accelerate digital reforms in Ukraine,” said Fedorov.
The first such center will open in the near future in Berlin. Ukraine will be the second country in the world where such a platform will be opened.
“This proves that international partners highly value the development of innovation and technology in Ukraine. We are gradually becoming global leaders in the digital transformation of governments and states,” added the minister.
Let’s recall that the previous Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov discussed with the participants of the IT coalition the asymmetric responses of the Russian Federation.
Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that domestic diplomats have started using artificial intelligence tools in their work.
