The head of state held a meeting with the leadership of the American investment bank JP Morgan.
President Vladimir Zelensky took part in the meeting of Heads of Big Business – Ukraine within the framework of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The head of state announced this on Facebook on Tuesday, January 16.
“He spoke about the economic growth of Ukraine, which exceeded 5% in 2023, and about optimistic forecasts for GDP growth for 2024. He invited people to invest in Ukraine and participate in its restoration. It is very important which is here, to boost investment in Ukraine and support our economy,” Zelensky wrote.
The President also said he met with the leadership of American investment bank JP Morgan and major international investors.
“It is important for us to attract private capital to the restoration of Ukraine. We hope that JP Morgan will help attract a large number of international investors and corporations to the Ukrainian economy,” he said.
We remind you that the Ministry of Economy forecasts GDP growth of 4.6% in 2024. At the same time, investment is expected to grow by 29.6% compared to 2023, which will form the most positive contribution to GDP growth components.
