Ukraine imported the most goods from China – $10.4 billion, and exported to Poland – $4.7 billion.
By the end of 2023, Ukraine’s trade turnover will reach $99.4 billion. Our country imported goods worth about $63.5 billion and exported goods worth $36 billion. The State Customs Service reported this on Friday, January 12.
It indicates that taxable imports reached $52.6 billion, which is 83% of the total volume of imported goods.
Ukraine imports the most goods from China – $10.4 billion, Poland – $6.6 billion and Germany – $4.9 billion.
At the same time, Ukraine exported the most to Poland – $4.7 billion, Romania – $3.7 billion and China – $2.4 billion.
Of the total volume of goods imported last year, 65% consisted of the following categories of goods:

machinery, equipment and transportation – $19.8 billion;

industrial chemical products – $11 billion;

fuel and energy products – $10.3 billion.
The top three most exported goods from Ukraine include: food products ($21.8 billion), metals and products made from them ($3.9 billion), as well as machinery, equipment and transportation ($2.9 billion).
During customs clearance of exports of goods for which an export duty was established, UAH 559.2 million was paid to the budget.
We remind you that Ukraine for the first time surpassed Russia in trade with Germany. Until recently, Germany was traditionally one of the largest trading partners of the Russian Federation, but the Kremlin’s war against Ukraine has changed the picture.
