The hryvnia exchange rate continues to strengthen for the second day on the cash market. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to monitoring data on Thursday, January 11.
So, the average selling rate of the dollar decreased by another 10 kopecks – to 39.10 UAH, and the euro exchange rate fell by 5 kopecks – to 42.85 UAH.
Today, exchange offices buy dollars for an average of 38.60 UAH, and euros for 42.00 UAH.

The previous day, the NBU reduced the exchange rate of the dollar after a historic high. The official rate is set at 38.1923 UAH per 1 dollar (-0.0330 UAH). The euro exchange rate is 41.8015 UAH per 1 euro (-0.0170 UAH).
Earlier, the National Bank explained the record demand for foreign currency. At the same time, the regulator claims that the situation remains under control thanks to a sufficient number of interventions.
