According to BEB materials, 10 Russian entities involved in the production of drones are included in the sanctions list.
Special sanctions were applied against five legal entities and five individuals involved in the production of Russian drones, among them the Kalashnikov Concern. This was reported by the press service of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine on Tuesday, January 9.
“On the initiative of BEB detectives, in accordance with the order of the President of Ukraine, personal special economic and other restrictive measures were applied against five legal entities and five individuals involved in the production of drones of Russia,” the statement said.
BEB analysts identified companies that, bypassing sanctions, supplied parts for the manufacture of Lancet kamikaze drones. In particular, we are talking about the Kalashnikov Concern and related companies and individuals.
The BEB, according to the sanctions law, is not one of the bodies that can apply, cancel and amend sanctions, but according to the government decree, it is the subject of ensuring the implementation of the sanctions policy .
Currently, work is underway to include the BEB in the list of central executive authorities subject to the application, removal and amendment of sanctions.
We remind you that in 2023, the number of Russian people on Western sanctions lists will more than double.
Currently, in general, EU sanctions against Russia cover about 1,950 individuals and legal entities whose assets are frozen and their owners are prevented from providing services to the EU.
