A woman from Michigan (USA) won $925,434 on a lottery ticket she didn’t think was a winner.
A Michigan woman bought a lottery ticket and won a jackpot of $925,434, UPI reported.
The woman told lottery officials she went to the store to buy some scratch tickets.
“Every few weeks, my wife and I would go to the store and buy a bunch of tickets, then go home and get them. While we were at the store, I saw that the Fast Cash jackpot was approaching $1 million, so I bought some Fast Cash tickets.” – he says.
The woman chose a Super Lucky 7s Fast Cash lottery ticket. When he got home, he decided to scan the ticket with Michigan Lottery software before throwing it away because he initially thought it wasn’t a winning ticket.
“When the amount of $925,434 appeared on the screen, I thought there was something wrong with the scanner. I looked at the ticket again and when I saw that I really won, I was stunned,” the winner added.
The American said he plans to use the winnings to buy a car and save money for retirement.
It was previously reported that an American has won the biggest jackpot in the history of the popular Mega Millions lottery.
