During the entire period of operation of the “corridor”, more than 400 ships were loaded in the Odessa region.
By 2023, 50 million tons of cargo will pass through the ports of the Odessa region. This is 15% more than in 2022, the head of Odessa OBA Oleg Kiper said on Telegram the other day.
“It is the main export of agricultural products, intended for various countries in the world, including Egypt, China, USA, Tunisia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Romania, Algeria, Netherlands , Bulgaria, Pakistan, Belgium ,” Kiper wrote.
He added that during the entire period of operation of the “corridor” more than 400 ships were loaded in the Odessa region.
Kiper also promised in February to publish calculations of how much the state earned from the fight against the “black” grain.
“But now we understand that we are moving in the right direction!” he concluded.
The previous day, President Vladimir Zelensky said that since the start of the new Black Sea corridor, more than 14 million tons of cargo have been delivered. We are talking about 500 ships.
As is known, in contrast to the previously existing grain corridor, the new corridor accommodates ships not only with agricultural products, but also with other cargo – metal and containers.
Earlier, Athletistic wrote in detail about how Ukraine created its own trade corridor in the Black Sea.
