The system contains both support for the health and psycho-emotional state of veterans, and works with managers and teams to which veterans return, said the group’s HR director.
Metinvest Group announced the creation of a system for the socialization of veterans – “an inclusive ecosystem for the integration of veterans into a full life and work.” This was stated by the group’s director for sustainable development and personnel relations, Tatyana Petruk, the official website of the group reported on Thursday, January 4.
“We are creating an inclusive ecosystem for integrating veterans into a full life and work. These employees are our DNA with proven experience, qualifications and skills, and if not return our mobilized workforce in their jobs, the enterprises of the group will lose a lot of value. Our defenders and defenders during their service in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine gain not only military experience, but also acquire valuable business skills such as leadership, teamwork, results orientation, unity and mutual support. The labor market has been called the “war for talents.” Today, most of the defenders who return from front have these skills and can use them in their daily work. Now the company pays attention to the health and psycho-emotional state of veterans, provides additional medical examinations, and also explores the possibility of introducing its own rehabilitation programs,” he said.

Metinvest’s HR director added that the reintegration strategy also includes working with managers and teams to which veterans will return.
In addition, according to him, the company gives Ukrainians in the east who returned from the war the opportunity to get additional qualifications and join Metinvest, because in the eastern regions the company experiences a greater shortage of personnel than other places.
“We provide the opportunity for employees, including veterans, to undergo retraining in professions needed in businesses at the expense of business, including our Metinvest Polytechnic University. Since the beginning of the full-scale raid, 19,000 employees underwent retraining under various programs. And at Metinvest enterprises in Pokrovsk, Zaporozhye, Krivoy Rog and Kamensky, about 8,200 people work,” said Petruk.
The Metinvest press service added that about 400 company workers who had been mobilized since the beginning of the war had returned to work.
Let’s recall that earlier the general director of the group, Yuriy Ryzhenkov, reported that since the beginning of the entire war with Russia, almost eight thousand employees of Metinvest joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
